Avocado Toast

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1-2 teaspoons Kutral Merken Paste (adjust based on your heat preference)

  • 2 slices of whole-grain or sourdough bread

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon lemon or lime juice

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • Optional toppings: poached egg, cherry tomatoes, radishes, arugula, feta cheese

Instructions:

  • Toast the Bread: Toast the slices of bread in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown. For added flavor, lightly brush the bread with olive oil or spread a thin layer of butter before toasting.

  • Mash the Avocado: In a bowl, scoop out the avocado flesh and mash it with a fork to your preferred texture (chunky or smooth). Stir in the lemon or lime juice, Kutral Merken Paste, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  • Assemble the Toast: Spread the spicy avocado mixture evenly on each slice of toast.

​

  • Add Toppings (Optional): If you want to enhance your avocado toast, top it with a poached egg, sliced cherry tomatoes, radishes, arugula, or crumbled feta cheese.

​

  • Serve: Garnish with an extra sprinkle of salt, pepper, or a drizzle of olive oil if desired.
